how should I wire my battery isolator on a 89 jeep wrangler?
I have a winch, 2 driving lights, 2 off-raod light, 55 watt back up light, 300 watt power inverter
EACH TYPE OF SYSTEM HAS SOME DIFFERENCES AS WELL AS THE PARTICULAR ISOLATOR THAT U R INSTALLING
BASIC WIRING REQUIRES YOU TO LOCATE THE 12V POWER SUPPLY FROM THE BATTERY TO THE EXCITER TERMINAL ON THE ALTERNATOR
THIS WIRE SHOULD BE ATTACHED TO BATTERY NO.ONE TERMINAL ON THE ISOLATOR
THEN A WIRE WILL BE CONNECTED FROM THE ALTERNATOR TERMINAL THAT U JUST DISCONNECTED
AND RUN TO THE ISOLATOR TERMINAL MARKED ALTERNATOR
THE ISOLATOR TERMINAL MARKED BATTERY NO. 2 WILL GO TO THE SECOND BATTERY
I SUGGEST A CIRCUIT BREAKER BETWEEN THE ISOLATOR AND BATTERY NO. 2
FROM THE PLUS SIDE OF BATTERY NO. 2 YOU WILL POWER ALL YOU AUXILIARY ACCESSORIES
