Channel Competition

Why is that Channel 7s coverage appears to have been close to only 25-30 mins of competition...?
& the remainder of the prvious hour has been dedicated to meaningless advertising, highlights reels, promo material & pathetic scheduling. Wake up 7.
I guess they use the time to earn money and to promote their site. It could backfire though, if they piss people off.
