Can I hook up 2 4 ohm subs and 1 2 ohm sub to the same amp?
I have a Sony 1200w amp from a couple of years ago, and I am looking to add another subwoofer. The 2 12" subs I have now are 4 ohms, and the other sub I am looking at is 2 ohms. Is it possible to hook all of them up to the same amp?
the best bet for you is too get another amp for the simple fact you dont wanna blow your amp cause lets be serious a person with a system isnt gonna play opera music your gonna play something that bumps and something you can feel the thump of the speakers soo my opinion is too get another amp for better sound quality and performance you dont wanna drain your car batterty also so make sure you connect a separate battery for the amps.
