what is is the transmitted power wave if it propagates at a certain mass density?
If y=0.03 sin(60x-500t) in SI units, and if the mass density of the string on which the wave propagates is 0.005 kg/m, what is the transmitted power wave?
P=1/2*mu*omega^2*A^2*v --------------- v velocity=500/60 m/s
=1/2*0,005*500^2*0,03^2*500/60 =4,6875 W
