How do you hook up fuel lines to boat gas tank for demo derby car?
I am bulding a 1987 ford crown vic Fuel Injected, into demo car. The rules say I can use the orginal tank in back seat but that's a little dangerous. I was told by a freind that you can take a boat tank and hook it up using a fuel pump. However I am a little confused by how I do that when there is 2 prongs on top of boat tank. Any info would help, thanks.
Use the fuel line from the boat tank, remove the end that would fit onto the outboard and fit to the fuel line where the fuel filter normally connects on most older cars.
I wouldn't put the tank in with you personally.
