Which gauge I should use for my amplifier I just bought?
I have a question about which gauge I should use for my amplifier I just bought. It is a SoundStorm Force F2.600. I am putting it in a 98' Chevrolet K1500 Pickup Truck. I just bought a new battery for it and am wondering if a 8 gauge would work for this amp because that is what is installed in my truck. Here are the stats on the amp.
600W, 2 Channel MOSFET Bridgeable Amplifier, High/low X-over, With Remote Subwoofer Level Control
Thanks!!
id put in 4 gauge because its not that much more expensive, but if your gonna go with 8 gauge buy at least rockford fosgate wires ($32 at best buy) because if you plan on upgrading in the future, those cheap wires will burn up
