Whick 5 ch amp it better? Lanzar OPTS650.5 Opti Scion or CRUNCH P1-5000.5?
I don't like having to say this, being a long time Lanzar fan, but it looks to me like the lanzar's actual power output won't come close to its advertised ratings.
The crunch, however, appears to be fairly accurately rated.
The lanzar uses a pair of 25A fuses, indicating it should be capable of producing 500w rms. However, its rms rating at 2 ohms is 800w rms total. It's highly unlikely that's going to happen.
(The manual states 40x2, but the one retail site that had good pictures clearly showed a pair of 20's)
The crunch uses a 70A fuse. Its total rms rating is 750w - not unreasonable at all.
FWIW - I have 3 optidrive amps, two optidrive 12's, and an optidrive component set.
