my 4 channel amp has two groups, i can only choose between one! Help!?
I have a 4 channel JBL GTQ 190 amplifier. It has two groups to choose from, A, or B. Each group has two sets of channels, equaling out to 4 speakers. I would like to bridge it to two speakers, but in order to do so, id need both group A and B to work at the same time, but there is a switch to move it to A or B no inbetween. It has a mode switch as well that says "R ST L + R" but I don't know what that means. Please help!
There should be a switch that says GR1-GR2 or A-B. Set it to A, that will make the output for both groups on the amps be driven by the input on RCA set A.
Plug your RCAs into the "A" set of plugs.
From there, you should have sound out of all of your terminals.
