How to seal end cap on pvc pipe?
I have made an underwater camera housing with PVC pipe, and i have a screw cap on the end with an O ring, but it leaks water. Any ideas on how to create an airtight seal?
It most likely wont need to be pressure resistant below 7 meters, as thats is deep as it will most likely travel. I cant use silicone caulking as it needs to be removed so i can access camera between filming. But thankyou!
depends on the depth your using it at.. preasure will disstort the pvc and cause the oring to let water pass. best you check at a diving school their sure to be someone there that does underwater phography
