My car needs motor mounts replaced but cant afford for 3 weeks. Can I still drive it without damaging further?
What would be worse thing that could happen? would my motor fall out of my car? Is that even possible?
You didn't say what's wrong with them. Are they broken, cracked, worn out, ect. If they, both, are broke or cracked then yeah the motor can basically fall out. The motor mounts are what hold the engine in place. There is a lot of torque there. When u rev it or romp on it the engine will jump from the torque.
If they are just wearing out then you should be okay for the 3 weeks. Just take it easy on the take offs and don't hit the passing gear with it.
