Depends on how big/thick those few clouds are. Yes, you can get an isolated small storm to form which would produce lightning/thunder with the rest of the sky clear, but no if you mean just a few small clouds. You need sufficient precipitation formation within the cloud to generate the needed electrical field for lightning.
