Where can I get a cheap but good microphone and amplifier? (See description)?

I'm looking for a good but cheap microphone and amp that I can use as a starter kit. A few friends and I are starting a band soon and we are doing dual vocalists. I need a microphone that is able to read high frequencies also because there will be screaming involved in some parts. Thanks for the answers when I get them.

I would recommend that you buy a smaller PA system. That way you both can plug into it and it will be able to handle your screams without blowing. Fender's Passport series isn't too bad for this sort of thing. Harbinger HA120 would work as well. As far as mics go I'd recommend a Audix OM2, or cheaper an EV Cobalt of some sort. Don't be afraid to invest in a decent mic, because venues don't always have the best sounding equipment, and less germs.

Always check out craigslist and eBay of course. Other than that pawn shops have that kind of thing most of the time.

Also, Buy monster or live wire cables. They have a lifetime guarantee and you don't usually need a receipt to get a new one when they short out.
