I Want To Run 2 Alpine SWR-1242D 12" 1500W Dual 4-Ohm Subwoofers With a Hifonics BXi 1606D?
1600w rms brutus mono amplifier will this amp push the subs good
No. I personally have had reviews that this amp is a peice. I would definately not get this amp. It claims to do "1600W @1ohm, I highly doubt it will be stable at 1ohm, most amps cant handle that low of a resistance.
If you have a choice in the sub selection, go with the SWR-1222D. This will get you to a 2 ohm final resistance so you can use any amp at 2 ohms.
If you want an amp that preforms well at a low price, match the subs above to a Alpine mrp-m850.
