How do I connect the speaker wires to new integrated amp?

4 wires from the wall that go to speakers. red green white and black. 4 ports on amp. 2 + & 2 - which colors are + and which are - ? I thought red and green would be + and the others - but I cannot get sound. Any help appreciated

try this one:

get a nine volt battery

take the grill off of the front of the speaker

while standing near the speaker (or have someone watch) touch the battery to the bare wires two at the time till you hear a thump from the speaker. after you find the correct two wires look at the speaker. if the poles are correct
(+ & -)
the bass speaker will "jump" out at you. if they are wrong the speaker will "jump" in.
